    In the UK most people see meat as always coming in little white plastic trays. Some of the comments I used to get when field dressing almost anything ranged from “That’s disgusting” to ” I’ll never eat another chicken as long as I shall live”.

    • most here think the same. At one time I was a vegetarian based on “only eat things I can kill”. And if it came down to having to kill and butcher my food, I might be again. We have a bumper sticker that reads “vegetarian: Indian for Poor Hunter”. but it could also be unable to viscerate!
